Eh, these big tournaments give out MILLIONS in prize money now, plus people get sponsorships, plus top gaming streamers and youtubers can make six figure incomes... it's not unreasonable that a handful of these people use a well known gaming site - even if they don't use the forums themselves.

i think they voted on the basis of making money from tournaments. they just didn't read what it said about being fully supported.

Wasn't that done to make gamespot more attractive to advertisers It was done to boost both, but if gamfaqs was the bigger draw it would be gamespot.gamefaqs , instead GameFAQs was moved to a subdomain of gamespot to increase its visibility and get it traffic added to gamespot for ad negotiation --- If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all ...
