The LCD is fine, there's just cracks in the covering glass:

This sucks. It's still usable, just annoying. I'm not even sure how it happened, I was using it yesterday and everything was fine, then I just folded it up and set it on my nightstand and went to work.

I can replace it, I've done screen replacements before when they break and go all rainbow-y. It's just a pain in the fucking ass, and I'm broke too

do you have a cat that could have jumped on it or something while it was closed? But yeah sorry that sucks, screen replacements can be a bitch price wise

No cat. I think when I was putting it away I held it by the edge and put too much pressure on it, idk. I didn't notice or hear anything last night when I put it away, and that's the last time I touched it. That's the only thing I can think of.

I can do the screen replacement myself, I probably just have to replace the capacitive overlay since the LCD itself is undamaged. Honestly, I don't even want a touch screen, so maybe I can get away with using a piece of acrylic or something.
