Jeffery Epstein was a coward when he killed himself in prison.

someone who does it cause of crippling depression or some other mental issue. or maybe a physical debilitation that has ruined their life or something. that's different.

Self-reflection and hating of their own life. It applies to everything.

"He/She took the easy way out. My life sucks and I made it through"

"He/She gets money from the government. I'm broke and we still make it work"

"He/She goes to therapy. I've got way more troubles and you don't see me crying in therapy"

I'm not even really judging people who think this way. It's hard when you have it hard. Sometimes you tell yourself whatever it takes to justify you making it to your next day. Even if it's putting others down. You need help, but I understand being stuck in that mindset.

I don't buy the argument but the way I understand it is that the person who committed suicide is a "coward" for not facing whatever demons were affecting them.

Because for a lot of people it's easier to empathise with the loved ones left behind than it is the motivations of the deceased.
