I don't work in politics and I have never done any rigorous political analysis in my life. I agree with you even though I'm trying to be optimistic to myself and others. I 'feel' like trump will win again, but I really don't want him to. it seems to me like he will and I don't know exactly why. but I'm trying to think to myself that it'll be bernie or warren. it's like how they tell you to smile even if you feel like shit because it'll fool your brain into making you feel better as if you were actually smiling because you were happy

well it's who do you 'think' will be the next president. not who do you 'want' to be the next president

of course people like him probably never make the distinction

But yeah I don't really know, but Biden most likely on the list I guess. Of course if Trump is re-elected as mentioned above no idea who will be running in 2024 to guess at this point.

Absolutely, although a chunk of the democrats running have high unlikeablity and a lot of the more progressive policies don't play well outside of a far-left base. Whoever gets the dem nomination is going to have to moderate a bit if they want to pick up the blue dog union democrats that Hillary lost quite a few of that migrated across party lines. I think Biden can do it if like his eyes don't keep shooting out blood during debates and stuff. >_> But in theory he picks up his home state, and probably Michigan which Trump only one by a tiny fraction, then I think he only needs one more state assuming he keeps everything Hillary got. A few others are well within play, he can probably swing Wisconsin or Ohio or Florida.

Biden was probably the last great hope, but that ship crashed ashore when they started painting him as a forgetful old man. I don't think America trusts Biden to remember where he left the car keys, let alone run a country.

the problem is that it's easier for the Republicans to unite under his single banner, while i suspect the Democrats are much more divided in more smaller camps.
