I can play on my Nintendo Switch and it doesn't bother anyone.
How much louder would an actual ds4 controller be to use on a laptop

I'm debating just how much I can push the limits here.
So far playing Nintendo Switch or a 3DS with pokemon while watching pokemon is accepted.

I do my work. I'm probably the only person on my team who can do it on my own. Everyone knows to fuck off for at least a two hour break if I'm on.

Impressive that you have time to do this at work. I used to sneak out of work and play Nintendo DS in the toilets when I first started at my company lol.

Anyway if you're able to get away with the Switch, I don't think a DS4 will make much difference. Are you using your own PC or company PC though?

I always wondered if I would take a cruisy job even if it meant a substantial pay cut. I feel like I'd need something mentally stimulating and earn something on the side for it to be viable.

Yeah from what Ive gathered hes in a very nice position where he basically doesnt have to do much because there are 2 very experienced people already doing the same job as him and they have no problem doing most of the work. (Correct me if Im wrong, TC.)

Its hard to say. For my part, when I was younger I left my first job where I was making ~$12 for another job that was essentially the same job but much easier and less stressful but only paid ~$9. I think it was definitely worth it, although part of that was me eventually being able to expand in that new job and fill other roles which made things more interesting.

What I've always found interesting is when we studied business management theories in high school and that the assumption people want to do the least amount of work/responsibilities was not always true... and now that I'm alot older, I really do appreciate how I'm willing to go out of my way for intellectually stimulating work.

Dang, thats cool that you had those classes in high school! This is my argument for UBI plenty of people would still want to work. In fact, its normal for people to want to do work especially if its, as you said, stimulating.

I say classes but in all honesty it was rote learning theories/concepts from 20 years prior. That being said it did engage me enough to pursue a career in accounting/business and whilst I started off earning peanuts at $27k per year and having a job which often meant bringing laptop home to do work and working on weekends, I enjoyed the challenge and stimulation... I even remember one of my colleagues calling me up at 11pm on a Friday night asking me to explain how we worked out the interest calculations on certain products since she was also working late.

There's usually 10 people total divided into different countries to look after... Things.
pay is okay. I can save about 1000 a month after expenses including luxury ones like Netflix.
I thankfully only have one other idiot here with me. The other countries have the other 8 idiots that do help desk.
I'm just responding if something fucks up in Ireland or the 8 idiots become whiny fucks
