Nice to be back up to here (350 lbs since I don't want to clickbait you into watching) after 2 years of working my operated arm back up from nothing. I'm also much lighter than when I was previously lifting more than this.

Not doing this. After a few months post-surgery the reattached bicep is secured back into the tendon (and even tougher than a normal arm, I hear).

Definitely concerned about repeating the same injury on either arm from the same thing (tire flip at a competition), though. Some things are just more inherently dangerous than others and I think heavy tire flipping is something I need to be more attentive to form on.

Good job on the recovery!

Also, I'm pretty sure that shovel moved two inches to the right between each weight change. That's spooky stuff. You may have a ghost-shovel. I'd watch out if I was you.

Seriously, time flies. I get jealous seeing pro strongmen competing on TV like a couple of months after tearing their bicep but eh, I have to remember I'm not chemically enhanced.

Thanks dude.

Wasn't being sarcastic to fire back lol, that made me laugh. I can't watch my old videos because I would cringe too much but I think it's awesome we go that far back.

I remember seeing pics of the size difference in your arms. Did that balance out?

also congrats on hitting 350. My max was 390 back when I was 170 around 3.5 years ago (before my son was born. I havent benched seriously since then until 4 weeks ago. Trying to get back at it 5/3/1 style.

Not completely but it's much better now.

Damn, that's an insane bench press, nevermind at that bodyweight. My record is 375 but I was at least 220 then (currently 190).

Dude that looks much better. Soon theyll be back at the same size.

Bench is the only lift Ive ever been good at (so many injuries with squats and DLs). Im about 185 now. Ended up at 235*15 on my 5+ day on Saturday. I missed this shit. 4 plates has always been my goal.

Thanks dude, I've been cutting weight and maintaining while doing Muay Thai so growth hasn't been as fast as it could be. Might bulk up in a few months to fix that, but I'm happy about how far it's come.

Sounds like your bench is at a good place. I've been doing some variant of 5/3/1 since 2011, lol.

Glad to hear you're using it. I made that ages ago and recently reviewed it to make sure it was still up to standards.

Btw @Pow_Pow_Punishment what routine are you currently doing? I found some old 5/3/1 ebooks on my amazon account and I found one called Rule of 10 that I might stick with.

Sadly, I still cannot deadlift nor squat. Finding alternatives is fun and has kept me injury free, though.
