Machete 09/11/19 8:56:30 PM #1:	Apparently these motherfuckers are useless if they are on their backs, because this one was and it was just flailing around and unable to right itself. I don't live where there are those 17-year ones that are loud as fuck or whatever so I don't know what that's like. I don't have any issues with Cicadas. I poked it and flipped it over and it eventually started crawling away. They're neat looking so I don't have a reason to kill them or fuck with them. Also found an empty cocoon of either a polyphemus or luna moth under a shrub between my neighbors' house and my driveway and I was annoyed because it was empty and I didn't get to find it before the moth emerged because I really like those kinds of moths... still was a neat find though. @dolomedes --- https://talktotransformer.com The Internet is kind of the whole ****ing Internet. <cite>Machete posted [p:927310403] in I rescued ... The treaty I have with the bug alliance leaves my end of the deal open to interpretation and discretionary, and it typically involves the probability of me being bitten or stung, though my opinion of various bugs in an aesthetic sense plays a role. I've reared them from egg to moth many times just because I wanted to. Got no beef with cicadas so not looking to eat them either.
