Tl;Dw: "Haunted" houses with people who recently died alone, killed themselves or were murdered are listed as stigmatised houses and cost cheaper to rent.

And also, by Japanese laws only the first Tennant that moves in after the death needs to be told about the death. Anyone else after doesn't need to be told.

I one time had a girl here tell me she wouldn't go to Okinawa because it had too many ghosts and was dangerous. I had to really try hard not to laugh. Like if Okinawa has so many ghost attacks wouldn't she hear about them in the news or something? It was just so ridiculous.
