unless they drastically change the game styles, they probably won't make much more. JRPGs are kind of a dying breed in todays world. I dunno how well FF 15 did in sales though

I think the series will end at 20, even though it should have ended before then. Increasing costs for all the production and flagging sales due to alienating all the fans will cause them to end the series.
For all the big features for 20, it'll be hinted at for years at several E3 conventions. SE will even say they will bring back everyone from past games for the true Final Fantasy. Then they will consistently fail to deliver on all the hype and promises leaving the franchise to finally die, looking nothing like it once did, with only the most hardcore fans to care ... That said I think as long as the series is capable of raking in a profit they will make games --- Cid- "looks like that overgrown lobster just got served!"
