I'd tell him to fuck right off and call his bluff. Gun violence doesn't happen often where I live and if someone pulled a gun on me it's likely a fake. Even if it's real they probably aren't willing to actually use it.

And typically no, you're not supposed to take them anywhere (more likely to kill you), but it would probably depend on the situation.

Considering I have a gun on me about 99.9% of the time, if he does this he better frisk me and disarm me or I'm shooting the first time I can get him distracted.

I kindly tell him he's an idiot, then tell him to piss off for his own good because I'm calling the cops.
