I feel like eating pizza to solve your hunger is like drinking soda to solve your thirst.

Aka it's a bad idea. Drink water. Eat healthy.

Eating pizza or soda can be fine, but eat it for what it is. An unhealthy treat.

and yet you are telling people they should be making up the difference by loading up on unnecessary carbs

hmmm

It was just an example based on your one requirement given: wanting to be full.

Bread will make you full. If you are just eating pizza to get full anyway, then it is unhealthy anyway.

If you wanted to satisfy all three things, probably get a pizza with a decent salad. Don't try to make the pizza do a job it isn't meant for.

I am the one that makes fun of those who seem to always say local pizza is better than the chain stuff, but there is this st. louis pizza place by where I live that is so godly that imo, blows Imo's out of the water. Best part is, on Mondays, they have a deal where their xtra-large pizza is $9.99.

I have literally been hungry like 3 times in my life. I could not eat all day and not get hungry. Tbh I wish I would get hungry so I could eat more. I am always either content full or stuffed.
What the fuck are you even on about?

People who eat pizza are weird giants and should eat bread instead? Are you high?

The fuck dude? I did not say that at all.

Let me. Say it. Slowly.

Pizza tastes good.

Pizza is expensive.

Bread is cheap.

Bread is filling.

If you want food for flavor, get pizza.

If you want food for filling up, get bread.

If you want to get filled up and have flavor, buy pizza and bread.

Eat pizza until satisfied flavor wise.

Then fill up on cheap bread.
This might be one of the strangest posts I've ever read on this site. And that's saying a lot.

people can want to have a meal that is flavorful and filling, at the same time

crazy concept, i know

Yeah, this is some weird argument going on.
If I'm eating good food and spending a lot of money -- I want to make sure I don't need to spend more money or time to eat something else soon after.
This is why I don't like thin crust pizza. This is why I rarely eat sushi. This is why people add things like proteins and calorically dense things like nuts, seeds, and dried fruit to salads.

The only good square cut pizza is Detroit style pizza. Sorry - but the style of pizza that TC posted is like the worst. In my experiences:

With the exception of a good Neopolitan pizza -- the crust is usually the best part of a pizza. This holds true for bar pizza, NYC pizza, deep dish, Detroit, most chains, etc. Thin crust is just whack for not acknowledging that.

Could be location-based. The one in Webster Groves is shitty, I know that much. The one in Affton isn't much better.

Anyway, these days I prefer local frozen pizzas like Dogtown or Mama Lucia's since I can cook it how I like.

I once made a sardine and oyster pizza on my own tho
