I give people a lighter when they ask me for one, then they offer a cigarette as a show of thanks. I turn down the cigarette and say I don't smoke, then they just look at me weird.

I only carry a lighter because most of my friends smoke and smokers are always losing lighters.

I get that sometimes. I let them borrow the lighter if I have one but I don't smoke cigarettes so I just tell them that when they ask for those.
