Several episodes were calling out environmentalists, taxes, my feelings are hurt activists and busy bodies, and the government, while one episode defended Wal-Mart. Today they probably would say CNN is bullshit and go after a lot of social justice causes. Likewise Trump has not governed like a Libertarian nor has he actually reduced spending, so the idea that "oh they are Libertarian they'll support his tax policies!" is completely wrong. And one of the only things that Penn said he'd back Trump with was if he pulled troops out of Syria and Afghanistan, the former which still has at least 1,000(so he cut it by less than half) and the later still has the same amount we had under Obama.
