I currently have an LG 43UJ6300 and it's horrendous. Its WiFi module gave out, it has an abysmal refresh rate (to the point where even using an Apple TV feels awkward), and by default the colors are so dark and jaundiced. Putting the TV in Game Mode makes the colors even worse.
I keep hearing good things about the TCL 5 Series, but I also hear that the backlighting isn't that good. Are there any good 43-inch TVs that have decent color accuracy, and are tolerable for gaming? --- ~ (obligatory signature) ~ ... Copied to Clipboard!

For that size and price range, I'd have to think there would be some Sony, Samsung, or vizio model out there close to that range. I don't have any specific model...but those are some good brands with many different options.

Apple TVs look really good on older (non smart) 1080p LCD TVs or even TV monitors. Which are readily available for cheap at Goodwills and pawn shops.
