It has such a heavy flavor to it also, I will take like a third of a regular serving and chop it up fine and put it in some scrambled eggs just for a bit of flavor, but I struggle to eat it by itself.

I made a thread a while back though that some local BBQ place sold cherrywood smoked SPAM and I bought some and it was really damn good, I don't know if the smoke and cook drained some of the salt and grease but the flavor was so different.

Those are pretty good but so expensive for how much you get. You can get 6 lbs of really good mozz sticks at Sam's Club for 12 bucks. My favorite are the cheese curds from Old Chicago tho, and they're half off from 3pm to 6pm.

smoking the meat changes/improves the flavor.

Maybe i'm building it up too much, the sodium levels scare me.

It's just that standard 12 oz size can, recommended serving is 2 oz.

I have seen the single serve pouches also at the dollar store.

For thousands of dollars, sure. For fun? Nope. I did do this once, or at least close to it, on a camping trip in high school, so I know I can do it without feeling super sick after, just kind of bloated. Or at least I could way back then.
