I like most of the mega evolutions of pokemon as they look so badass when they mega evolve and they can hold their own in most battles that I've used them in.

I liked them and am disappointed that they are being removed, but I think adding in so many Pokemon specific items was a mistake that bogs down the inventory too much. They should be more thoughtful with items in the future. I also don't think they should add form changes that will be completely removed from the games in future generations.

Yeah, definitely had a Digimon feel. I just appreciated playing against some Pokes that weren't lesser legendaries.

I loved mega evos. I miss them.

Honestly, it was a much better way of dealing with Pokedex bloat than regional variants. They could've kept on giving megas, considering how much they tailored to the first 3 gens.

While I thought the evolutions themselves were cool, I didn't like how it basically made held items lesser. Now, instead of playing with the strategy of strategy with different items you just give them and stone and start every fight by mega evolution.
