That's pretty much an impulse buy. 2 upgradable memory slots. NVMe SSD with a spare 2.5" bay. Full HD IPS screen. A number pad. The CPU is kinda shit, but the graphics match Intel offerings. Add some more RAM, slap a fresh Windows 10 install on and you're good.

I'm looking mainly at the XPS 15 or Ice Lake XPS 13 but the cheap stuff is getting so good as an alternative to refurbished Thinkpads. I really want Thunderbolt to start being on everything.

I had one for years. Only problem was the power jack stopped working

"S Mode" can get fucked.

Other than the screen it's a piece of shit, plus it's Acer so guaranteed to break.

I'm still using the one I got in 2012, only issue is the keyboard kinda sucks, like I can't type certain letters when holding Shift unless I press Shift, press the letter, then let go of Shift. it's weird
