As in, creating these bodies completely from scratch in some sort of lab environment.
Additionally, there's also tech to transfer someone's mind and consciousness into these new bodies, leaving their old one a lifeless husk.
And both technologies are affordable to the general public.

In such a world, would a transgendered individual still be considered as such if they could now transplant themselves into a fully-functional body of their chosen gender?

Yeah.

Cuz they used to be one gender, and now they're another.

Yeah.

Cuz they used to be one gender, and now they're another.

The point was that in real life, transgenders typically have to disclose that fact to their partners because of the biological differences between male and female bodies that science as of now cannot resolve.

With this technology, they would have fully-functional bodies of their chosen gender; for all intents and purposes, they are biologically that sex. Therefore, there would be no real need to disclose that they are trans, since biologically, it wouldn't matter in this case.

Or perhaps society at the time would still see things different even with this?

Even without the build-a-body part of the scenario, with just the mind transfer part, you could have this. If two opposite-sex transgenders meet and like each other's bodies for themselves, they could just swap.
Still, immortality scheme, and escaping from justice, by body-stealing would ensue.
