I am still on the fence. I have greatly regretted buying a switch and I am trying to justify it.

I don't have it, but I played the 3DS one. You'll like it if you enjoyed regular 2D Mario games.

There's a whole bunch of types of levels and you can choose the difficulty. There are also boss battle levels (people can get really creative) and auto-levels (you don't touch the controller, and Mario should just complete it by himself, usually has cool custom music being played by something hitting music boxes and also looks cool).

You might need an online subscription to enjoy it though.

I've gotten more enjoyment from this one than the first one.

Course making isn't as good as it was in the original game but the new features make playing levels other people have made very entertaining. Pretty much a must own Switch game.
