Like I see a lot of people having one but I don't really understand it.
When I go out everything I need is in my pockets. You know phone, wallet, money and and piece of paper in my pocket or something.

I feel like maybe if I need to carry around a water bottle or my electronic devices I would use a bacpack but like what exactly is the purpose of having a backpack as an adult if you are not a tourist and just walking or going around where you live?

So what do you need in the backpack for that aside of some water? Also an adult using a backpack to go to work is kinda cringe.

Laptop, books, notepads, tablet, power bank, usb hub, nintendo switch, pens/pencils, copies of business cards for any events, then food, water, maybe a clothing top of some sort since wqeather here is tricky.

i find t hat most people who don't want one tend to opt for the side satchel/handbag is more professional.
It gets to a point were you're not worreid about whatever people think because you're aware that looking like the try hard on an internship to impress isn't what makes you not get fired

My work has a gym so I take a change of clothes and a towel in a backpack a couple times a week along with my lunch. Simple!

For me, it's either outdoors hiking/hunting or when I go on a plane, it's nice to be able to stash it under the seat and have access to it's contents throughout the flight instead of cramming it into the overhead compartment

Once you're do e hauling books around In one, you can start hauling all kinds of more useful stuff in them. It's pretty great, actually. Just get a small one.

I take mine when I travel for work so I can carry my laptop, charger, phone, headset, iPad, etc.

Suppose you live in Phoenix and take the light rail to and from work. You need no less than a half gallon container if water, sunscreen, an umbrella, a book, a portable charger, wallet, lunch, snack, change of shoes, pepper spray, and whatever you need at the office if you're going to Mesa or Chandler or Glendale.

It's good to be prepared

Ive brought my switch too. What else am I going to do at the hotel after work lol

I've always needed to carry around a laptop for work, though I use a messenger bag.

as someone who laughs at ppl with their 3DS FCs in their sig, how is what he said funny?

Its funny because he listed all of these serious business type things needed in the office followed by a Nintendo Switch. Im not judging the guy by any means, it just seemed out of place.

Is that ok? Why do you laugh at people with friend codes in their sig?

I use one to carry stuff while I'm out on my motorcycle which doesn't have storage capabilities. I also take my bag into work so I can bring my laptop, lunch, tablet, phone and whatever else I feel like throwing in the bag.
