Annette Alaniz Guajardo from Poteet, Texas filmed the horrifying moment a GIANT SPIDER catching a BAT from its web and EATING IT!!

It was caught in her farm as she saw the arachnid getting ready to prepare for its meal as the bat appeared to be double its size of the banana spider

Later that day, when she pulled up from the driveway, the bat was dead..

She wrote "i love the country" as the shocking pictures of the long legged spider crawling over and wrapping up its next meal

Typically banana spiders preys upon insects such as grasshoppers, flies, wasps, mosquitos and moths

Despite the spider already having quite a hefty feast to discover, the homeowner thought it be best to take her DOGS inside

Social media users have described it as a NIGHTMARE and blown away by the spider and the catch

Banana spiders, scientifically named "Nephila Clavipes" are known as Writing spiders, calico spiders, golden orb weavers

These spiders are VENOMOUS but only give a slight redness after biting humans and the pain is less severe than a bee sting

Banana spiders are identified by their orange and tan abdomens with thinner legs and females have furrier tufts on their legs than males

Not sure why I would be scared. Although I do like Bats more than Spiders I still have no issue with Spiders.

Nah, I'm not a bat and it's not super dangerous to me.
It is vaguely creepy, but that's nature for ya.

As long as it stays out of my house I'm fine. There was a spider about half that size chilling on my fence and I didn't bother it. I'd like to put spider intruders in a cage and put them back outside, but realistically I'd probably demolish the motherfucker.
