Not true, he bullied one kid for being gay, heard a different guy singing, talked to him about it and said he was really good, but the singer kid didn't want to be friends BECAUSE he bullied his friend for being gay, so he punched the singer kid for not wanting to be friends, not for being gay.

He was still a really unlikable character tho

They don't stop it. He kills the main character when he is tackled (you see it at the end of your clip). He was distracted by the dance moves, but that wasn't their purpose. And it's one of those stories where fate guides everything to do whatever because fate. The story really isn't the appeal of the show in my opinion, so there isn't really any point in going into it.

I didn't like the show after watching it.

Having said that, your description of the show from reading summary and watching clips misrepresents the show greatly. It's an artsy show and a lot of it is supposed to be metaphors. Some people like it and some don't.

You could make any show seem silly when describing it out of context.

I actually used the skip 10 second feature many times during extended dance scenes. It was cringe, but more so it was drawn out. That said the later methods they discover for travel are pretty cool in my opinion.
