The parents did nothing wrong. Kids should be allowed to do whatever they want at any time and if the parent tries to do anything to stop the kid, they should call CPS and get new parents.

Yeah i remember being half proud half dumfounded by a parent I saw in gamestop once. Middle aged woman trying to buy GTA and the clerk so it for what it was and asked how old her kid was. She said something like 9 or 10 I forget. And he didnt say he wouldn't sell her the game but went on to explain what the game had in it. She just went "oh" laid the game down and walked out. Half proud because she made the decision her kid probably shouldnt play it. Half dumb founded cause the name of the game is literally a major crime and the cover does nothing to imply you'll be a cop trying to stop said crime.

So, yea kid needs help and he shouldn't be playing that much, but a lot of those clips looked like how most kids play games online lol...mom needs to be a better parent but its so obvious that the Dr Phil Show edited all that in a way that will be pleasing to the "Video games are bad!" daytime audience.

So in conclusion, Kid does need some level of help before it gets too far, mom needs to be a better parent and get him that help, and Dr Phil's editors are bias.
