two things, how do we know who that is until it happens, and two....once it happens they generally already are confined, either in prison or an institution. We need to be focusing on how to help mental health. People with mental health issues can progress into those more dangerous types...it does more to help them early than to wait until they're too far gone.

I mean, you've gotta keep tabs on these white people with mental health issues, especially if they show an interest in guns.

They already can be on an emergency basis, but only for 72 hours without a court order ordering them to be held for longer. Barring that, the person being held is to be allowed to leave if they want to after the 72 hours is up.
