Every few years you have a band come along that the media portrays as saving rock and yet there are so many under-the-radar bands playing great rock and roll

Probably the most mainstream and modern rock band I enjoy. What can I say? I love Myles Kennedys singing voice and developed a man crush on him since the first time I heard Edge use Metalingus as his entrance music in the WWE. Its crazy how big they are in Europe playing in arenas, while in the United States they play smaller sized venues (compared to arenas anyway lol).

that was specifically in response to the dude bringing up thrash

will always welcome good music posts tbh

for example I love the mountain goats but wouldnt have posted a song here because they definitely scan more as folk/indie to most people ears than good old fashioned rock

The Punks are all over their deathrock/goth/devo/d-beat phases and now mad bands are going straight rock n roll. Hank Wood & The Hammerheads is one of the most successful transitions of an established notable band into this trend; their new shit is their best shit.
