it's this special kind of fishing where you hold a net in the water and wait for a salmon to swim into it. and you have to be a resident of Alaska for 2 years before you can do it. for some reason. my brother does it every year, but this was my first time. We had to wade into the Kenai River and stand there waiting. I managed to catch 3 fish. but my brother caught 11. and my dad got 1. now my arms are all sore today from holding that net. and i had to take a shower as soon as I got home cause I was covered in river water. we had on waterproof waders. but sometimes water still gets in and gets on your clothes

I'm not a big fisher person but it was more enjoyable than I thought it would be. I'll probably go next year
