I don't think I'll be around at 8 but whatever, someone else can surely get it.

The activity thing is what it is. Personally, I've made an effort to not be as invested as I usually am into games because in the past it's stressed me out way too much, so I've ended up overdoing it and ended up having a harder time getting into it than I should. Still need to figure out how to strike a balance between being productive and enjoying myself, my past few games have generally been the former but not the latter, this one has been the latter but not the former.

Part of the problem overall of course is that of the people really in the hot seat now, Blade hasn't been around much, IGCD isn't really playing, MZero is in Asia where his time zones don't line up with anyone. Even Scare if you want to throw in the godfather fear replaced into a game he's obviously not got a ton of time for. Unless someone wants to take a run at Lea or Ulti or something, the lynch candidates and the active players are two almost completely different groups with only Red sort of being in both. So even the people who are trying to be active have little to do but discuss things they already know with each other.

Ok, I bite. I was scum reading Blade D1 as well so I wasn't going to protest much. Call this mental exercise partially boredom and partially wanting to try to make sure we're still actually mentally engaged in the game and not just going thru the motions. Considering how quiet things are if we just lynch for inactivity then we gotta kill practically everyone to be sure we got it right >_>

Like, there are a dozen hypotheticals that could easily mean the game is borked:

Scare, Blade, or MZero is the real cop and you're sliding by on them being too busy to counter claim you atm.

Scare/MZero is GF and we're about to use our last mislynch, meaning digging out the remaining scum may take longer than expected

Scum magically has an extra kill sitting in their pocket and it isn't Blade

Ulti is Scum Mayor

And who knows how many other comedy options we could have!

That last one didnt work out so well. And in their time of desperation, they even tried to kill him by going back in time before he ever mutated into his monstrous form. But nothing could keep the king of monsters down, history simply corrected its course every time. I mean, how else would you get sequels if your main star dies at the end?

But then the strangest thing happened. The emperor of the world died of a heartattack and was succeeded by his son. And in that instant, Godzilla himself also fell prey to a heart attack. Except in his case, his heart was actually a beating nuclear reactor. And it went into overdrive. The blast could be heard from countries away, and left behind a crater where the air tasted like metal and the surrounding trees turned red with death.

It was not great, but it could have been terrible.

Blade didnt just not check in with us in topic, he was MIA on scumboard(do we have to call it scumdiscord now?) as well. Still hasnt popped in since yesterday.

He was the one that decided we kill plum and not firebolt after i said firebolt was doc. he insisted plum was approaching modkill territory at the claim when in fact plum is just insane. (Seriously, as soon as corrik floated doc look at bolt immediately turn on him). But it was the most active blade has participated in a game so I didn't press it hard enough. My mistake.

You guys are right on most of it but our last scum is innocent scanning, so good luck figuring that one out.

Blades role was actually more harmful to scum than helpful.

And yeah I was baiting Corrik into hammering me because i knew it would compel ulti to mayor. Corrik was full crazy train this game.

Also Hb was supposed to come in day 1 and claim miller. I had a claim set up for him and everything. Instead he did...whatever it was he did and told me he planned to claim miller on page 2 because everyone that does it immediately is always scum(This is...not even remotely true).

No one ever touches hb in this game if he just makes the miller claim. So I had my sails cut off this game basically immediately.

basically, we had godfather and an untargettable. With two roles that makes cop useless(But hint towards cop) I figured no way town has a miller, hb is innocent as fuck so if he just opens with miller no one ever touches him. hell the way activity is this game he probably could have claimed miller, gone idle, and he'd never have been questioned.
