I've never actually blocked a single person on a forum, in my 15+ years of posting on forums. I've also never thought, "wow, I'm so glad that moderation took place!"

Maybe I'm speaking from a place of privilege? Maybe if I was a woman and I was being stalked or harassed by someone online I could see it being beneficial?

I've never wished a mod on another person, though, is what I'm saying. I'm well aware I have a huge mod history.

I've literally posted in forums for over 15 years and never blocked or warned a single person.

It's over the internet and isn't meant to be taken literally. I'm sure you're also creating some sort of fallacy, too, because I'm not speaking for or defending my own actions. I have a clear history of mental health issues that run deep in my family. My own personal actions aren't meant to be examples of what's right or wrong.
Also they really do need to reassess themselves if they have backwards opinions. This site creates an echo chamber when most of its users think it's okay to be classist.

I didn't say it did.
I already said I'm not here to defend my actions. I'm well aware of my shortcomings, and I know I need to fix them. That is different than someone having a violent or problematic opinion, and then refusing to hear the other side and working against progress; obviously I'm referring to instances where there's an objectively harmful stance they can take. They're choosing not to acknowledge their shortcomings or lack of knowledge on a topic.
