It's way too late in the game for that much of a drastic change

All it will do is basically serve to kill off lobbies since everyone will want to play DPS

also doesn't this mean you can't switch heroes mid game? Or that you'll only be locked into a specific subset? So if i'm doing really bad with support my team is just stuck with it.

is it because of the role queue, or Sigma?

dps only people will just sit in queue forever while tank and heal players get short queues. same as WoW

most players dont play in OWL
last years finals didn't even use the 2/2/2 system as both opted for 3/3

role queue, why would people be queuing on support and dps to play sigma?

players have never been more excited about a QoL update

..the system wasn't ready for last year's finals. and not every team played 3/3 last stage

Eh, I spend all my time in the Arcade, most of the modes there are randomized or don't even use 6v6 match-ups so role queue isn't a concern for me.

It's kind of funny to think that they'll probably turn "No Roles" into a new Arcade mode though, just like what happened with "No Limits".

I don't always want to play a quickplay match where we're fated to lose because we have five DPS. This will help with that issue somewhat, but it has its own flaws.

The latter, if you chose the healer class you can swap amongst all the healers at will. Same for the others. But it's still not very balanced becuase dps have a wealth of options still but tanks and healers? Not so much.

Becuase while theres enough tanks not all of them are main tanks, so your options are more then cut in half. Same for healers.

I mained just lucio until I learned Ana but hes a terrible solo/main healer so my options are limited even further. Role queues I think should be limited to the lower ranks, and then removed at the higher becuase most players by then can use half the roster.
