Trending on Twitter and a lot of Youtubers are pushing hard for it. Nintendo has previously stated they would possibly remaster it if the demand was there.

Yeah, I saw this appear on Twitter suddenly yesterday. It's great to see this sort of movement for a remaster, but I'd rather that energy was devoted to a Paper Mario game that evokes the spirit of TTYD without just going back to the remastering well, personally. Of course, I'm not an industry expert, so maybe remastering is a super-easy process without much labor intensive work. I can't believe that is the case, but who knows?

Showing support for TTYD remaster also indirectly shows support for wanting Paper Mario games like TTYD.

It's my favorite PM game but honestly TTYD & PM64 are the only good ones. The Wii one felt lackluster and boring and the rest have gone downhill from there

Remaster the first one first. TTYD is the inferior game and already looks really good emulated

I don't really understand where the desire for a Paper Mario "remaster" comes from, Paper Mario games were great how they were... that's the problem, that they don't make Paper Marios how they used to.

They just want the same game, but with crisp HD graphics

Ehhh I guess that's true, but it does still involve some update - the crisp HD graphics" par... but it's Paper Mario, being cardboard cutouts never really had much need for a visual update.

I wouldn't expect Nintendo to bother with a remaster that isn't full priced, and Paper Mario just has the least to gain to make it worthwhile

Paper mario 64 would be the one that needs a remaster if only because it's the only one with a slightly different artstyle.

Even then it's fine, a rerelease would be great for either

Honestly I'd prefer it if Nintendo just made more of their older stuff available in general. Outside of the "classic" systems, which kind of defeats the point of easy accessibility.

I do like seeing Paper Mario specifically get love for sure though.
