Looking into buying my first place and considering a duplex where I'd live and rent out the other.

Alternatively, use a company to manage it, you will lose some profit but save many headaches. But if you go this route make sure you see what kind of return you will be seeing after their cost and make sure it's worth doing over a different form of investment
