21 y/o Naomi Osaka, the ranked #2 in Women's Tennis made the cover of allure as she told the magazine that her success is just as much about drive and aspirations as skill who said "My parents weren't exactly the richest, so what am i going to do? I'm not really the smartest. I've been playing tennis my whole life, you know? So there's nothing i can imagine myself doing. Its either i have to be the best or i'm going to be homeless"

And Naomi made those comments while stating she may GIVE UP her AMERICAN PASSPORT and play for JAPAN at the Olympics!!

The Japanese-American pro made her name when she beat Serena Williams at the US Open which was much criticized and made headlines after the calls against Serena of which she blasted the judge in that match for his sexist bias against female tennis players compared to male ones.

That didn't phase Naomi however as Serena still congratulated her on her win but it's taking a physical toll on her lately as her bones are beginning to CRACK and she doesn't think it's normal.

She uses a lot of sunscreen whenever she is out on the tennis court as she trains for days and has made tennis her entire career.

Now as the 2020 Olympics are approaching, Naomi says she might give up American citizenship to play for Japan as she'd like to represent the country she was born in but not being american anymore is also a hard decision for her to make.

I believe she's a naturalized citizen and it wouldn't surprise me if one of the conditions would prevent playing for other countries.

It doesn't have to do with the Olympics since we've had Americans go abroad, get citizenship and play for countries they have no connection to. Becky Hammon being one of the more well known athletes to do it.

It's about Japan's legal system that apparently makes people choose citizenship upon their 22nd birthday.
