Board 8 > Anyone have a recommendation for a good office/gaming chair?

I'm about to start working from home so I need a better office chair if I'm going to sitting in it for 8 hours a day.

I've looked online and there is an overwhelming amount of chairs in basically every budget range. Seems impossible to tell which ones are actually good so does anyone have any first hand experience?

this chair changed my life (mine's in white). It's the "Classic" DX Racer chair, it's bigger than their main brands and leather. I'll sing this chair's praises until the end of time. I can sit in this thing all day and all night and it never becomes uncomfortable.

I'm not so sure about the more well known version everyone uses. I've sat in them before and they were okay but not nearly as awesome as my Classic chair. But then again I think they were too small for me, so I'm not so sure what it's like if it's the right size. It's super important to get the right size for those ones, which is why there's a million varieties.

Yeah I live basically next door to a Staples and all of the chairs are pretty meh. This DX chair looks pretty awesome, wondering if I should pull the trigger now or wait to see if there are any deals on Prime Day on Monday.

For $300 you might be able to get a second hand, barebones Herman Miller with a lot of luck. I've been hunting down an Aeron for a little while to see what the best price I can get is. They retail for like $1,000 but I've never seen a more universally agreed upon "best" chair.

(I've only had one chance to sit in one myself, in an executive suite I was in for an interview. Definitely wanted to take it home with me, lol.)

Mine has about 15 sitting out and most of them are either too cheap or too expensive for what I'm looking for.

Update (mainly for Cly because he's the only person who actually recommended a chair) but I went ahead and bought the chair! Excited to try it out on Friday
