He's a major star sure, but Jumanji might be his only huge hit outside the F&F franchise (Moana was Disney-powered and would have made a lot of money with or without him). F&F seems to make like a billion per movie; Jumanji's the only other Rock movie to make anywhere near that. Furious 7 and Fate are the only ones to crack a billion. An argument can be made that this is because of Paul Walkers death. There are few, if any, stars that generate billion dollar movies. This is done more through franchises, which would explain why Fast and Furious would be his billion dollar film series. The thing about Dwayne Johnson is that he has a way of starring in films that should bomb, but end up making a decent enough profit. And I think this is usually accomplished through international sales. This is why a lot of Rocks films perform a lot better overseas (I assume China mostly) than in the USA. It totally destroys the reasoning for killing Han in the first place because it wasn't even like they killed or crippled his brother.
