Just graduated from my university in May, been searching for a job in healthcare/wellness consulting since then (but really have been searching actively since last November). After endless searching, someone found me on my colleges job board online for an offer for a health pro consultant job in Dallas that pays 47500 with benefits, but not sure if its worth relocating from Houston, where I live now, but its almost like I have no other choice atm. Is it worth it?

You gotta get the hell out of Texas. They say everything is bigger in Texas, including the motivation to leave.

It's 4 hours away, if it's a good job opportunity go for it.

I relocated from Dallas to Denver after I graduated actually. It's been a good chance of experience.

I doubt the change from Houston to Dallas will be much

Yeah, you're a nutcase all right because everyone is moving to Texas since our job market is one of the best in the USA.

If the pay and the job permits, go for it. Life is full of risks, take all the ones you can and learn from it, whether you fail or succeed. It helps us grow.

It's a few hours away. Go for it. You can still easily spend time with friends and family.
