First Dragon Quest game I have played. I'm still very early in, around 5 hours played so far. So far it's a perfect blend of old school RPG with modern day visuals. Fun and absolutely stunning visually. I like the old school sound effects and music too.
I have to say tho the Jersey accent on my only other party member so far is awful. And the game has been extremely easy so far. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I rented it for free from my local library. If I was gonna buy I would have waited for Switch.

You're not the first person I've seen refer to that accent as Jersey, but I just don't hear it. He sounds like a weird Irish/Scottish/British accent to me. The whole cast is European so I doubt they were attempting to do such a specific American accent.

I've been to Jersey a few times and when I heard him speak he literally sounded just like the people I spoke to there.

Hopefully you got the PC version for the orchestrated music mod, the midi music gets old after awhile.

It's basically a perfect follow-up to Dragon Quest 8. I can't wait for the Switch edition and all of its extras.
