Something I just took for granted as a kid when people told me that everyone's fingerprints are different and the lady at the police department would tell us how they'd dust for fingerprints to catch the bad guys.

But over 7 billion people, and all of them have unique set of fingerprints? Looking at mine and how different can another's really be.

I think ive heard its possible for two to be similar enough its hard to distuinguish but the likelyhood of those two people being near each other is super slim.

Just think it's kinda amazing that there could be so many combinations for the different ridges in our fingertips to distinguish billions upon billions of people.
