We are tropical animals. We evolved all sorts of biological ways to survive in heat more than cold (we have to use our intelligence for cold). That's why the hottest it gets is way easier to survive than the coldest it gets. 110s are way less deadly than negative double digits.

in 90 degree weather, you can still do all of your normal daily functions just fine. it doesn't change anything.

10 on the other hand is fucking cold. that's a few degrees away from the freezer. 10F is hypothermia or frostbite in an hour. yeah you can put more clothes on, and then what? are you going to be able to do anything fun like that? unless you specifically like the handful of cold weather activities, you are going to get bored fast and go back inside.

It's relative. If you live somewhere that routinely gets into the 110s, 90 is "kinda hot." Like I can still handle wearing jeans in 90 degrees if it's a dry heat.

It's going to be 93 F tomorrow where I am, a great fun summer day, some of you choosing 10 F must be all in for that frostbite shit cause even with "layers" eventually the cold will effect your body in a negative way.

It is much easier to deal with heat then bitter cold.

I'm a bit biased because I use a motorcycle as my main form of transportation so for me it's not even a debate. 90 isn't pleasant but 10 is downright painful. Anything under 30 is fucked for me due to wind chill. 10? Unbearable. Layers aren't enough. Even heated clothes can only do so much. Never rode a motorcycle in weather quite that cold but I'm pretty sure at that cold there's a legit risk of hypothermia even with gear. No thank you.

Clearly you've never experience a 10 degree winter. 10 degrees is nothing. Where I'm from its gotten as cold as -40 degree Celsius. Crops can be grown indoors easily. It requires more energy i'll give you that, but its not near what you are talking about.

You're not going to lose a finger or toe in 90 degree heat.

90. Easily. It would be an improvement over what I've been getting and it is easier to deal with moderate heat than extreme cold. I don't own the clothing needed for 10 degree weather and my hands would like freeze off at my job.

90 degrees you can do stuff outside. If it's 10 degrees I'm staying home until it warms up again. That's why summer time is the best time. Grilling, sports, picnics, hiking, etc.

It's just about your body adapting.

Takes like "it's easier to warm up are dumb", people will always be more comfortable to what they're used to.

I'm used to 80-110F+ from May to October and I'm fine with it. Sure, it's not comfortable right now and it won't be until like late August, but I'll take it over that crap called snow.

The temperature itself isn't an issue.
It's the humidity when it's hot and cold winds, rain or snow when it's cold.

I'm fine with any temperature as long as humidity is low and nothing is falling from the sky.

90F...after enough time at 10F this area would have to redo the entire plumbing systems.

When it's warm outside people love going out and doing things, the cold is the PERFECT time to not go outside and just watch tv or play a game.

I do most of my gaming during the shitty cold seasons because there is no reason to be out in that fridged shit unless it;s work, or to get something.
