That's not what's going on. Iran wants to ruin the United States' reputation and credibility. We have the most powerful military in the world, but we don't misuse it for frivolous reasons; that's one of the main reasons why most of the world respects and loves the U.S. so much. Iran is probably thinking that if they can goad us into a war over a drone, it will hurt our relationships with our allies and weaken our standing.

This is actually a perfect example pf asymmetric warfare. Trump will almost certainly be unable to stop himself from playing a bad hand where he has zero international support, legal justification, or cause for retaliation over anything but a tweet that (depending on how this actually translates) says the same thing that many psychologists, doctors and political commentators have after spending time with the president.

So in a week or two hell be at whatever that summit is hes attending trying to pretend like whatever happened wasnt because he got his feelings hurt. Dude mutes anyone who talks shit on twitter but he wont here.
