Heart Gold or Black 2.

Those 2 are the epitomy of excellent pokemon games and we're never going to see something like them ever again. Matsuda is too busy simplifing pokemon to compete with smartphone babbies or whatever he said in that one interview >_>

I am kinda curious to see what will happen to SwSh. By now Gamefreak really deserves to flop so a more competent company can take their place, but we all know that won't happen

It's a shame we'll never get another amazing pokemon game again. Since Gen 6, pokemon has felt bleh and safe.

Indeed. I think B/W2 are objectively the best in the series and it can only go downhill from here.

HGSS and Emerald were the best in the series imo.

B2W2 did seem pretty good but I never played them since BW bored me.

SM and USUM were just baby mode...
