lww99 06/20/19 11:14:54 AM #1:	I made a topic last week about a kid I went to HS with, who robbed a bank 5 years ago, and is currently vacationing in Turks and Caicos. Today, I stumbled upon the IG of another old HS classmate. This one takes the cake. Shes like 25, has lived in Thailand and now Hawaii. Works as dive master and underwater videographer. Shell never have a real job. She lives in paradise. Her duties are swimming in beautiful oceans, and taking pictures of rare sea life. All because her parents are rich. For context, this is the house she grew up in. Had to drive by to get to school every day. Must be nice to live like a fucking Kardashian. (Pic for reference) Meanwhile, Im over here touching used tissues in peoples bags. Never been on vacation. Had to buy all my own vehicles. I was pretty resentful of people who grew up more affluent than me when I was younger. But a big turning point in terms of my financial success was when I stopped worrying about what other people have and focusing on my own life. Now i'm kind of happy that I grew up lower middle class. It made me who I am, and nobody can tell me I was handed what I have. It's cliche but some things are more important than money, that's one for me That said it does still piss me off to see people get off easy for committing a crime that would land a poorer person in prison for years. But the majority of those kids are still living in their parents house, no job, no life, nothing really at all. The other thing a lot of people don't acknowledge is that great wealth is a group effort. You need the right environment to be able to take on those opportunities and thrive.
