My first high school was shit in everything but sports, so even kids outside of clubs could do 100+ pushups in 2 minutes.

I learned how to do full tension, max gain pushups, and I did that for a while, but now I'm trying to relearn the basic form, cause the military's going to fuck me up real bad if I try to make them all count.

I tried the 100 pushup program once. In 6 weeks, you'll be able to do 100 pushups consecutively.

When I started, I could do 5 before failure.

After four weeks, I could do 6. According to the program, I should have been around 25 by then. I gave up.

I'm pretty sure it's a hoax. The muscles and ligaments in a human body just aren't built to perform that kind of motion. Maybe if people claimed to be able to do like 25-50 I could believe it, but over 100? Just another way to make people feel insecure about themselves.

You don't need to compare yourself to other people, but this is just flat out wrong. The pushup is one of the most convenient and perfect exercises you can do, and the army makes you do hundreds just for, fuckin', shits and giggles, from what they're telling me.

I used to do a couple hundred pushups and 200 situps a day. 3-5 days a week. Now I'd max out at 5 & 5, then need a week to recover.

I did it for a year way back. Sets of 20-25 just randomly through the day. I still use load screens to do push ups hear and there.
