46 y/o Woman legally named MARIJUANA PEPSI Vandyck from Wisconsin has defied her bullies and critics as she is now a DOCTOR after earning her PHD!!

She spent her whole life "embracing" the name her mother gave her despite others pushing back against it...

She REFUSED to change the unusual name to prove herself to others and overcoming the obstacles

Now the mother of 1 is officially Dr Marijuana Pepsi Vandyck after earning her degree at Cardinal Stritch University

She said her mother, Maggie Johnson picked out her name when she was born and declared it would take her around the world..despite her sisters being named Kimberly and Robin.

She credits her mother for becoming the strong woman she is today and said "I've grown into my name because i am a strong woman. I had to be"

She left an unstable home at 15 and graduated high school and went on to earn her college and master's degree and vowed to earn her doctorate

Marijuana said classmates made fun of her name growing up and teachers and bosses urged her to get it legally changed but she refused as she said people made a big deal out of it

She chose a similar topic for her dissertation topic "Black names in white classrooms: Teachers behaviours and student perceptions"

Students were interviewed for her thesis and had similar experiences in which educators would repeatedly quiz her on her name.

She works full time at Beloit College, a liberal arts college in Wisconson and despite her name, she's NEVER smoked marijuana nor had PEPSI!!
