It was like when goose bumps made you choose your own story. So any comments or thoughts or highlights? I love hearing impressions on Black Mirror. They can be so all over the place, lol. The best of them I watched a few times tbh they've got more replay value than alot of stuff ive watched lately & at this point i cant believe it took me this long to check the show out lol Ironically all because i was working on a song called black mirror & someone said to watch it. Coincidentally the song & show have alot of common ground & I hadn't even seen it before lmao. It's pretty dark when you consider that a very religious woman who wanted to die just like her husband, the old natural way, was convinced by a lesbian to abandon the beliefs she held til old age just to live in a virtual heaven. Makes you wonder if the woman made the right choice there considering all everyone did in that world was fulfill their desires, drugs, sex etc. She lived her entire life in faith and abandoned it for a program where she could live forever in "paradise". Based on that logic, I'd argue that Up also had a dark ending, since a very similar thing happens to the protagonist. He essentially stopped living out his life once his wife died and just waited for death away from everyone, only to realize that there was more to life than what he had planned and decided to continue his adventures without her. I think people can grow and realize that not every decision they originally make is in their best interest. --- Congratulations! The part where things got "censored" because they could be perceived as upsetting (like her grand-dad having a heart attack) where far more disturbing. Wish they would have done more with that. The ending was kind of a miss for me, and the whole obsessive thing wasn't new.
