41 y/o Hag, Yaqun Lu, a Chinese Woman from Michigan was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida after she was caught STOMPING on a nest of SEA TURTLE EGGS!!

She was charged with marine turtle and egg MOLESTATION or harassment.

Witnesses said they saw her jabbing at the sea turtle test with a wooden stake and then "stomped all over the nest with her bare feet"

Ernest Rodrigues said however "thankfully, it appears the eggs were not damaged"

She gave her address listed in Hudsonville, Michigan..

3 species of sea turtles, the Loggherhead, Green and Leatherback, commonly nest on Miami beaches from April to November according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Authorities cordoned off the nesting area with a double permieter of wooden stakes and yellow tape

The US Endangered Species Act of 1973 makes it a felony to hurt or harass sea turtles or their eggs

Police notified the Chinese Consulate in Houston about her crime. She was released from jail after paying 10% or 75,000 bond.

She is barred from returning to the turtle nesting area and is arraigned on July 15th
