I am going to go as far as saying I fucking endorse this woman's tweet and I say it was a good thing. she is a hero. and fuck the haters. she did the right thing

this story got me worked up and I am upset that all these people want to drive a woman to suicide over nothing

the only reason this happened is cause people are ignorant and they thought she was being racist. and most of those people probably didn't even read into the story to find out she isn't even white. or originally from america.

it's not what she said, it's that she posted a picture on Twitter of a person minding their own damn business because her own feelings being hurt.

The backlash and the reasons for it are concerning, though. The publisher is probably shit and the people ruining her life definitely are.

No one is defending her getting death threats. That is taking it too far and people that wish death upon her are trash.

But a counterpoint. You said this woman is a hero. But what if the bus driver has become suicidal due to the author tweeting the picture and shaming her for eating on the job. We know the bus driver was hurt and embarrassed. Maybe she's suicidal too?

The whole shaming culture on either end is stupid and goes way too far on both ends. Should she have lost her book deal? No. Should she be getting death threats? ABSOLUTELY not. Should she be called out for being a bitch? Yes.
