I assume "players" should be broad enough of a term. I'm not suggesting "gamers" since some "gamers" might be upset over being associated with folks who play mobile games or other less challenging games.
Though personally I question why/how folks would get upset over such pointless titles. Are you having fun with the games you play? Yes? That should be all that matters. It's like my friends, who was born in 83 and 84, somehow being upset by some folks associating them with millenniums when again it is just a near pointless title. --- "You must gather your party before venturing forth" "Go for the eyes Boo! Fair point but personally I feel instead of being concern with what others think about your generation, age group, gender, ethnicity, etc. Use that energy to show that you're more than whatever stereotypes others are assigning you to.
