I didn't fully understand the significance of how Supremacy starts, but in the grand scheme of how everything resolves and how Marie stays relevant to the end, the opening to Supremacy is quality. Couldn't believe it when I was younger and watching Supremacy after thinking Identity was freaking amazing

Pretty good movie series. Just wish it wasn't the Bourne series. If you read the books they are NOTHING like the movies. Theres a whole subplot about another world renowned assassin and stuff. Plus it takes place in the 80s. Just super bizarre.

Strike one: the first movie I even saw to push shakycam to such and obscene degree that I truly didn't know what I was watching half the time.

Strike two: my most hated of movie tropes, where the love interest from the first breakout hit is killed in the opening act of the sequel because the writers don't know what the fuck to do with her, and giving our hero a big sad moment + vengeance fuel is more important than developing her as a character.

Previous two strikes were deemed offensive enough to not need a third. This movie quite effectively killed my interest in the series. Which was a shame, because I loved the first one.
