Its pretty easy, even if you decide to leave at dusk for the late game exp boost and pick the rod and drop sword.

You might have to try a little at the beginning (mostly at that trickmaster boss, or whatever its called, boss of wonderland), but once you get to like, agrabah on up, you good to go.

Too late, I started before you posted. Proud mode, +Staff -Sword, Dusk.

Pretty sure I beat it already though. IIRC, the three kids on the beach are the final boss, right?

Proud and Critical modes are a decent challenge in KH2

KH1 Proud Mode is fairly easy with the exception of some bosses which aren't a real challenge, just unfun

I'm listening to The Adventure Zone podcast while playing. And in episode fifty-fuckin'-two as I'm playing the prologue of Kingdom Hearts, they reference KH for the first time.

So that was a fun coincidence.

Yeah KH Proud isn't too hard if you know what you're doing. It's actually a fun experience imo.

KH1 Proud and KH2 Critical are the best runs in the series.

I might be a little overleveled right now. I two-shot Riku and Leon which are meant to be big challenges, I think? I feel like it's an appropriate level of difficulty atm.

I'd also forgotten that Angel voiced Leon. He must have really needed a paycheck lol.
