While driving my car I won't text over 80 miles per hour.

While riding my motorcycle I won't text over 85-90 miles per hour.

Also created this topic while driving home on the interstate.

Is this shit for real? Lol. I facepalm pretty hard when I see people literally hauling ass with their heads down the entire time, fucking stupid. It's actually deeply concerning how many people do it. Would love to see someone pull up some statistics for how much rear end collisions have increased since cell phones became commonplace.

I will absolutely admit to checking my texts or occasionally firing one off if I'm at a red light. However, I will always glance at the lights around me and the phone goes down the second I see the light go yellow (meaning I'll be getting the flashing green or green next).

Ive never done it. Riskiest things ive done whike driving is light/put out a cigarette (seriously the ashtray is in a horrible spot) or take a sip of my drink. And I definitely pick my time for doing any of those. No cars too close ahead of me and no on coming traffic and the road is straight. If I can I try to wait till a stop sign/red light but I live out in the country so often there is good distance between those.
